If I remember correctly, one of my first pirate references was the Famobil 3570. The pirate in his yellow boat carrying a chest.
Although the pirate theme in my case did not begin to make sense until I had the classic PLAYMOBIL® pirate ship (ref. 3750), very similar to the one that Famobil marketed with reference 3550, although with more details and decorated sails.
And what would a pirate ship be without treasure to look for? Soon this issue would be resolved after obtaining the Pirate Island (ref. 3799). It was the most spectacular, with a cave with a secret passageway to escape quickly, with its treasures, turtles and even castaway.
Conflicts would soon arise. With the acquisition of the English Imperial Guard, the redcoats (ref. 3544), the pirates already had enemies to fight with, although previously only the treasures were disputed with those who were similarly dedicated to piracy.
Since the first references, numerous products of pirate theme have come onto the market. New models of pirate ships, soldiers' ships, other types of pirate islands and even ghost pirates or the dreaded cracken.

Of course, the pirate theme gives a lot of play. There are collectors who even have in their possession every pirate ship that has gone on sale, getting a huge fleet. The dioramas made of this theme are very striking and with great charm. They tend to like a lot, especially after the Pirates of the Caribbean movie saga.
In our case, we like to recreate the exploits of Captain Blackbeard, Calico Jack, Anne Bonny and of course, the Barbarossa brothers.
