SNOW

SNOW AT ITS MAXIMUM EXPRESSION

A very beautiful theme is dedicated to snow, the North Pole, Antarctica, etc. It is an enjoyment to explore this white world in all its context, meeting various native animals or discovering the life of the peopel of these cold lands.
PLAYMOBIL® delayed a few years to get content on this topic, but when it did, it released some very interesting references such as those related to the polar expedition. Currently only about three or four references on this theme have been released, but in my opinion they are not the same as their predecessors.

When we talk about fauna, the first things that come to mind are polar bears and penguins. PLAYMOBIL® marketed the references 3248 and 3671, the latter belonging to the color series, which contained various white penguins and a permanent marker to be able to paint them. Later they took out more current penguins, seals, new polar bears or even whales.

As for the people of the poles, the reference par excellence of this theme is the igloo with its Eskimo family, including the puppy (ref. 3465). Another very charming reference is the Eskimo kayak and dog sled (ref. 3466).

What would the theme of snow be without a good expedition? Regarding this, PLAYMOBIL® marketed the polar tent (ref. 3463), the snow inspection equipment (ref. 3464), or the arctic expedition plane or ship.

If we move away from the Poles, and we enter the city and the mountains, we also have several references related to snow, such as the snowmobile (ref. 3694), children with a sled (ref. 3327) or children on a sled with a snowman (ref. 3393) among others. Later they sold more modern references, such as snowball fight, snow troll, the ski cabin or the ski school.

In short, there is enough material to recreate winter days in the city or adventures and investigations at the Pole.
