From a very young age I wanted to have PLAYMOBIL® astronauts.
Probably the boom for space arose after the premiere of Star Wars (Star Wars). PLAYMOBIL® called the space series Playmospace and its typography is reminiscent of the movie labels. The best I managed to find in my city were two robots (ref. 3318). So, I was not very knowledgeable about all the references that this theme included.
It is when, without looking for it, in a holiday hotel store, we found two boxes of Famospace (for Famosa) that we acquired them without doubt it. They were astronauts. A box contained two classic astronauts, with yellow and red suits (ref. 3590) and the other box contained two figures with blue suits, jetpacks and quite different helmets.
With this content I was able to do my space adventures. I added a small customization that I made to an igloo (ref. 3465) to transform it into a spaceship, using furniture from the operating room (ref. 3459) and the forklift seat (ref. 3506). The result of this experiment only remains in my memory. At the time, for collecting reasons, each piece returned to its set.
To extend other themes, I could not buy the space station (ref. 3536), although it is true that I never got to see it in the store, like the rest of the references in the series.
Finally, we take advantage of the Space series, Mission to Mars, released by PLAYMOBIL®, to increase our collection with some more reference. Specifically with the "Space Rocket with Launch Site" (ref. 9488), with the "Research Vehicle" (ref. 9489), with the "Space Shuttle" (ref. 9805) and of course, with the "Space Station" (ref. 9487).
